A GREAT TIME WAS HAD BY ALL!!

Kids of all ages {including grandparents} were treated to a night at the MAGIC HOUSE by the Davania Schene Remax Group.

For Nancy and I this is our first trip to the Magic House in about Ten years.

The eyes of Paul as he begins his slide is proof positive of the great time had by all.

Thanks Glenn, Janice, and Rebecca

IN CASE YOU DO NOT KNOW!!!!
On February the 13Th 2007 I became an employee of the World Champion St Louis Cardinals. I am a stadium tour guide and LOVE every moment at the stadium.
For four years I liked working at Grants Farm but as I told my manager love is stronger than like.
In photo one I am sitting on my stadium chairs from Busch stadium two in my uniform for Busch Stadium three.

In photo two I am holding a very special autograph baseball that I received as a gift on May 23 rd.

The autograph ball is displayed in photo three.
You can probably read the signature but if not it is of the Cardinal great who has 3,630 hits
I make less money and have to travel further but I simply LOVE the job. It is my DREAM JOB!!!!

GRADUATION CELEBRATION CONTINUES
On Saturday our family and friends continued celebrating with Todd his high school graduation.
We ate [too much] played games, and visited till the late hour of 9:30 PM.
The great tasting, and attractive cake was prepared for Todd by Jen's grandmother.
Todd and I share a unique fact that there is fifty years difference in our age and I shared that same unique fact with my grandfather. However as a worthless piece of trivea I have been out of high school fifty one years

GRADUATION DAY!!!!!!!

Tuesday evening Nancy and I attended our oldest grandson Todd's high school graduation. Todd has reached one of those life moments that are forever measureable. Yet the best is yet to come.

We are so proud of his achievements and the bar he has set for the rest of our grandchildren. Last night our buttons were popping.

In the first photo we feature the graduate as he thinks about his future.

In the second photo we feature his immediate family along with the proud grandparents.

You know you are old when you begin taking photos of your grand children and their friends of the opposite sex. The third photo is Todd and his friend Jen.

The fourth photo is of his immediate family.

The fifth photo features Todd with his proud grand parents.

The sixth photo is of Todd and friend Danny as they have been friends for a long time.

The last photo is of grandma and grand daughter Kelsey as they wanted to be included.

TWO GRAND KIDS SPEND TIME
WITH THEIR GRANDPARENTS
How fortunate can two grandparents be? All six of our grandchildren live within twenty minutes of our house.
In a twenty four hour period from noon Saturday till noon Sunday we spent time with all six of our grandchildren

The photos today feature our youngest granddaughter and her older brother at our local park. We have a great small family park located a mere five minute walk from our house.
Hopefully there will be more photos tomorrow as our oldest grandson graduates from high school. It seems like only yesterday that I held him in my arms.

AN ARTIST AT WORK!!!

Saturday Nancy and I had the opportunity to attend the Belleville Illinois art fair and watch our grandson Todd at work. The Belleville art show is rated number five in the U.S. Todd was invited by the show to draw for two hours and even better it was a paid job.

The "HEAD" is Todd's entry in the high school students art competition at the show. My prediction is his work will be in the top three. Stay tuned to the comment section and I will give you the results later today.

It was a little embarrassing to the family but I enjoyed sitting next to the "HEAD"

and when people made comments I would proudly tell them about the artist and his work

On Tuesday Todd will be graduating from high school and then on to Harding University.

Todd has created some unique book marks for bibles and books along with key changes. If anyone in blog land would want a unique gift for $5.00 let me know.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!!! Nancy
You have made the journey a real JOY.
Wow!!! forty eight years have flown by since we commited to God and each other on 5-9-1959.
I remember as if it was yesterday the moment you and your dad entered the church. I said to myself or maybe it was to Fred {my best man] wow we are going to spend the rest of our life TOGETHER.
It may have begun in the fall of 1956 but our love got committed for life on 5-9-59.
Our life together has truly been " A Wonderful Life" I am looking forward to our fiftieth and then we can set a new goal.

The pictures are a quick review of our life together.
On our first anniversary in 1960 we went to New Orleans. It was one great vacation.
*** Breakfast in bed in Baton Rogue
*** Our first swim in salt water in Biloxi Ms.
*** The taste and smells of the many varieties of food in New Orleans.

The third photo is a real look at life in the seventies. If only I had my plaid pants on. It really is my all time favorite sport coat. Photo taken at Tan Tara on a fall get away possibly 1977.
The fourth photo is our twenty fifth anniversary spent on Oahu and Maui Hawaii. The really interesting point is we had little money but many years before our trip we had set a goal for Hawaii in 1984 and God provided for that goal to be reached
The fifth photo again was a result of goal setting as about five years before we decided to celebrate our fortieth with a BIG!!! party. Before over a hundred family and friends we shared a night of memories and committed to vows we wrote. It really was an evening to remember. I am looking forward to our fiftieth.

The last photo was taken in 2004 as we celebrated our forty-fifth in St Augustine Fl.
I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ed
