RIGHT PLACE AT RIGHT TIME

Last Friday I was sitting about fifteen feet away from a real Cardinal. I was able to take four photos and watch the Cardinal play for at least three to five minutes before flying away.
For me it is proof positive that the best things in life are free.!!!!

AMAZING!!!!!!

In 1971 I had two life changing experiences.
The first was I learned an important lesson from Dr. Paul Faulkner of Abilene Christian University. Dr. Paul during a sermon at McKnight Road made this life changing comment [for me and my family]

"The family that camps together stays together"
Nancy was not as excited as I was about that statement but she is a trooper. We went on to camp in Florida, Tennessee, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and of course Missouri.
The second 1971 experience was my first ever church camp and my friend Neil allowed me to be his co-directer of a week with nine and ten year old boys. I had a great experience and assisted Neil again in 1972.

I gave you the stories in order to tell you about Friday the 13Th 2007. Friday my family of fourteen were all together at Camo Ne O Tez with plus fifty nine and ten year old boys.
Son in law Joe and son Edward directed this week of camp with the boys. Daughter Terri was the head cook and her son Todd was a counselor and his sister Kelsey was a dish washer. Grandson Donovan was a camper.
On Friday son in law Shawn lead the boys on some sort of GPS game.
In addition, Friday, daughter Sherri and her sons Paul and James along with daughter in law Karen and daughter Kayleigh came to play and visit for the day.
Grandma and I came along for the expierence.

Photo one is the proud grandparents with grandson Todd.
Photo two is Paul,Kayleigh, and James.
Photo Three is Grandma with Terri, Sherri, and Karen.
Photo four is Kelsey and James.
Photo five is grandson Donovan opening his mail and an unknown camper to me.
Photo six is the two directers Joe and Edward..
Photo seven is Shawn keeping score of the GPS game.

I really believe Dr. Paul was right.

JOE and SANDI SEE A GAME AT
BUSCH STADIUM!!!!
Saturday night we took Joe and Sandi to see a game at Busch Stadium. Joe has now seen a game at all three St Louis stadiums.
I have two questions.
If Barry had hit a home run Saturday How should we have reacted?
THE CITY AT NIGHT
A--- Stood and cheered
B--- Stood and booed
C--- Sat in silence
Is Barry a first round hall of Famer?

A TOUR of THE STADIUM!!!

This week Nancy's brother Joe in the middle and his wife Sandie [ in the red pants] visited us from Colorado. Along with his daughter in [ the black pants] and two granddaughters I gave them a mini tour of the stadium.
Photo one and two were taken in the Cardinal dugout the favorite stop on the tour.

Photo three was taken from behind home plate looking out at the St Louis skyline.
Photo four is from the radio booth as I pretend to be Mike Shannon. This stop is also a real favorite stop on the tour.
The final photo was taken from the radio booth looking out at the field and the st Louis skyline.

I would recommend the stadium tour to all baseball and especially St Louis Cardinal fans.
