Emma Xmas 2007

SATURDAY WAS SPECIAL!!!!

Saturday January 24th Nancy and I attended a special dedication of a technology room at the Good Shepard school in honor of our family friend Emma.

Emma suddenly lost her life last April 27th and Saturday would have been her sixth birthday. In five plus years of life Emma taught us the real meaning of courage, patience, and how to handle the challenges in our life.

Emma had attended the Good Shephard School and they had helped her to adjust and grow in handling the challenges that life had thrown at her.

Contributions in Emma's honor helped the Good Shepard school to develop the technology room and they dedicated the room on Saturday as there way to honor and remember Emma.
The technology was really interesting. They have toys that are familiar yet they have ports that allow simple toys to be hooked to a computer. This allows students to hear, see, and touch the screen to learn from common toys.

Please notice the vision statement of the Good Shepard School.

The Em in impowering and the MA in making are in different colors and it spells "EMMA>"
It was truly a wonderful day.
