 Sara's BRIDAL SHOWER 4-9-2011!!!!!!!!!!

Todd and Sara celebrated a bridal shower among about fifty friends and relatives. Hopefully you will be able to get a glimpse of the many gifts they received.Nancy took so many pictures that I will display more tomorrow.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Today Mr. Ed turns 73 years old.  The 73 years have been filled with  doing the things he loves most - traveling, reading good books and working for the Cardinals. 


 Below you will see cute pictures of him when he was younger.  In the first picture he was just a baby about 6 months old.  In the next picture he has grown to a young boy with lots of curly hair.  As you can see in the next picture he is now a teenager working in the camera store for Davis Photo Supplies on Cherokee Street.  This street was an important street in his life.  He lived for 8 years on the corner of Cherokee and Jefferson above Supreme Sandwich Shop. In addition, Cherokee Street was a major shopping district and the home of Allen's Watermelon Stand where the teenagers of south St. Louis met on summer evenings.  In the middle picture looks like his curls have been cut off and he is cleaned up for the picture. Next we see him with Grannie Tritschler's dog.  This was the closest he ever got to having a pet as a child.  He spent weekends with Grannie and Queenie.   In the next picture he is wearing his dad's helmet from WW II.  Both our dads were in the war.  His dad was in the Pacific and my dad was in Europe.  Ed in the tie was taken the day we were witnesses for his cousin when he got married.
