HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHERRI!!!!!!!!!!

Shall we say a few years ago {ha ha} today was big in the eyes of your mother and I. You were not expected until Jan. 10TH but obviously I was excited about the practical matter of a tax deduction. Our big day actually started the evening of 12/29 as mom and I attended our first Jewish Bar mitzvah and we experienced all kinds of unusual foods. I then topped the evening off with picking up a pizza after i took Grandma home and about 1:00 PM mom and I finished off the pizza. At about 6:00AM mom woke me up and the rest is history.

The first photo was taken in the fall of 1969 shortly after our move back to St Louis. The 1966 Sherri at Cypress Gardens Fl.

The 1969 Sherri in front of pumkins her and Terri had planted at our home in Independence Mo.

I AM ONE LUCKY MAN WHEN IT PERTAINS TO LOVE AND BASEBALL!!!

Many times on tours of the stadium I describe myself as lucky when it comes to love and baseball.I am still amazed that she said "YES" over fifty one years ago. On the 15TH the love of my life accompanied me to the Cardinal Christmas party for their tour staff. This year as a special treat the party was held in the Cardinal players locker room.

Nancy and I are standing in front of Albert's locker

In 2006 I was at the first game in St Louis as Chris Carpenter pitched a shut out for Cardinal victory #2 in the series and on our way to our 10TH championship.

I saw games one and seven at Busch stadium both because of my friend Bob.For game one we were working the streets together looking to buy two tickets when Bob was able to buy one ticket. He let me go because he knew he was going to game two. It turned out the ticket Bob purchased was from Ozzie Smith.s aunt from Austin Texas. Bob was able to get us standing room tickets for game seven and championship number nine.

I saw games six and seven at Sportman's park.My friend Sam and I purchased two bleacher seats from a St Louis police officer for game six about five minutes before game time. I had a customer who gave me a ticket to game seven to watch Bob Gibson bring us championship number seven.

Like I said "I am lucky"

DONOVAN's JAZZ BAND HAS
CHRISTMAS CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tuesday night found Nancy and I at Donovan's jazz band Christmas performance. Donovan plays the Trombone and we are proud of the musician he is becoming as you have to audition to be in his school's jazz band.

Donovan is in the second row on the end on the right side.

You can actually see him playing

The band played well and we were amazed by the Trombone section.
