I LIKE SUNSETS and OCEANS!!!!!

The first photo was shot in 1984 when Nancy and I were in Hawaii celebrating our twenty fifth anniversary. It was shot from a Maui beach near the Hilton hotel.

Second photo taken in the late fall of 2006 from the beach at Boca Raton Fl.

Third photo is the famous Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara Ca. I believe it was taken in 1991.

Fourth photo was taken 2005 in Palm Beach Fl. looking across a lake not the ocean.

This photo also taken in 1984 off the beach at Maui Hi.

LUCKY ED IS MY MIDDLE NAME!!

Last night found Nancy and I sitting twelve rows from the ice and the blue line was in front of us at Blues playoff game four.

All of this happened because I was the tour guide on Monday at the Cardinal stadium when ten Vancover Canucks showed up and asked for a tour of the stadium.

I took Ryan Kesler,[a 26 goal scorer for 08-09,}#3 Kevin Dieksa, back up goalie Jason LaBartbeta and seven other players through the stadium. At the end they asked me to be their guest Tuesday night at the big game and of coarse I accepted. The results were bad but Nancy and I had a great time.

Sometimes it simply pays to be at the right place at the right time.

MEMORIES of WRIGLEY FIELD!!!!!!

I have been fortunate to see three Cards versus Cubs games at Wrigley Field in Chicago IL. New stadiums are nice but they do not have the charm of the old stadiums.

The July 2001 version of grandpa and Todd.

Notice the left field roof tops with bleacher seats built on the roof and sold by the home owners.

The famous Ivy on the outfield wall.

Another view of the roof top bleachers outside of the left field side of the ball park.

When I was young Billy Williams #21 was a hall of fame outfielder for the Cubs.

A LOOK BACK AT GOOD MEMORIES!!!!!!!!!

By this time last year I was at #23 on my way to doing seventy things I had never done before.

Discovering the Sandy Creek Covered Bridge less than forty minutes from our house was very special.

Visiting friends Eddie and Judy in Springfield Mo. allowed me to do three things on my list.!!!

A-Saw a ball game at Springfield

B-A visit to Mo. Sports Fall of Fame

C- Visit a Mo. Civil War battlefield

In addition we reconnected with friends Clark and Paula.

Starting New Years Day by baking an apple cobbler like my grandmother use to bake was so memorable.

A walk across the old Chain of Rocks bridge tat I drove across when I was a young man.

A climb to the top of the Compton Hill Water Tower was extremely special as I had memories dating back to when I was five or six.

Sorry but I miss 2008 and my quest to do seventy things I had never done.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANCY!!!!!!!

I have always felt the number seven was my lucky number so it was appropriate to select two times seven to spend my life with.

Happy birthday honey and I hope you have many more. I hope you enjoy your magical number year as much as I did last year.

I wish she still had the cars she is sitting on.
